Meet Dr. Eric Tran, the dentist behind Vault Dental

Hi, I’m Dr. Eric Tran, and I’m excited to welcome you to Vault Dental in Harleysville. I grew up nearby in Doylestown, and long before I became a dentist, I was always drawn to both science and working with my hands. Dentistry became the place where those interests came together.

It allows me to improve people’s health, help them feel more confident, and bring an artistic level of detail to the way a smile looks and functions.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Temple University, then continued at Temple to complete my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. As I have grown in this profession, one thing has stayed at the center of my work: I want patients to feel better leaving the chair than they did walking in.

For some people, that means repairing a broken tooth. For others, it means finally understanding what is happening in their mouth after years of feeling confused or anxious. Whatever brings you in, my goal is to make the experience feel clear, thoughtful, and manageable.

A family-owned practice built around how care should feel

Vault Dental is family-owned and led by me and my wife, Lisa Kwon, our Co-Founder and Office Manager. Lisa and I met at Temple long before we knew we would one day build a dental practice together. Now, we are creating Vault Dental around a shared belief: high-quality dentistry should feel personal, transparent, and virtually anxiety-free.

That belief shows up in small and large ways. We use digital forms to make your visit easier before you arrive. We explain treatment clearly, so you understand your options. We have ceiling TVs, streaming options, comfortable A-dec chairs, and a beverage station because we know the details matter when you are trying to feel at ease.

We also use technology like the TRIOS intraoral scanner to make care more comfortable and precise. For many treatments, that means no goopy impressions and a smoother experience from start to finish.

Cosmetic, restorative, and family care under one roof

Many patients come to us for fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, and clear aligner therapy. These are some of my favorite services because they combine function, health, and aesthetics. There is real artistry in restoring a tooth so it feels strong, looks natural, and supports the way you bite and smile.

We also provide preventive care, periodontal therapy, night guards for clenching and grinding, emergency visits, extractions, and implant restorations and maintenance. When a patient needs care that is better handled by a trusted specialist, such as molar root canal therapy or complex pediatric restorative treatment, we will be honest about that and help point you in the right direction.

To me, good dentistry is not about doing everything. It is about doing the right thing for the person in front of you.
